This year, Action Réfugiés Montréal is organizing the Ride for Refuge for the morning of Saturday, October 4, to raise funds in support of their work in justice and compassion for people seeking protection in Montreal. Their goal is to raise at least $50,000 this year. It will take place in Verdun, based at Church of the Epiphany (4322 Wellington), which will allow for a delightful walk or ride along the St Lawrence.
 
St. Columba would like to have a team of riders participate. One person would need to sign up as a team captain, and then enlist others to also sign up to join in the fun of the event, as well as the fundraising effort. Please let Lara know if you are interested.
