St. Columba believes that Mission is the blood that flows through a church’s veins. We are alive when we work in partnership with others, sharing what we have and learning from each other. St. Columba makes choices about the specific projects it supports and believes that it is important that a congregation make long term commitments to our partners, rather than changing support at a whim.
We seek to balance a commitment to local needs with a global vision, and to respond to human need while working to change the conditions of injustice that cause such disparity. Our goal is to support and empower people in our local and global community. We recognize the value of being inclusive and finding ways for all participants to contribute. We are committed to being part of a much larger community and to living out our values as Christians.
